Composite Software, Inc. today announced that two newly published reports by independent analyst firms, Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) and Bloor Research, recognize Composite Software and the Composite Data Virtualization Platform™ as the IT industry’s leading data virtualization solution. The EMA report further praises Composite Software’s recent strategic partnerships with Kapow Technologies and Netezza Corporation for allowing Composite Software to deliver new, innovative solutions for IT developers and end-users while still focusing on the core of its expertise – data virtualization.
The Composite Data Virtualization Platform, released in May 2010, is the industry’s most comprehensive data virtualization offering used to address the escalating enterprise demand for more agile, cost-effective data integration solutions. EMA and Bloor Research both recognize the Composite Data Virtualization Platform as the leading general-purpose data virtualization solution of choice.
Phillip Howard, research director of UK-based Bloor Research, writes in his report, “Certainly, [Composite Software] is the leading pure play (independent) vendor in the marketplace, and we would argue that it is the leading vendor in the sector as a whole, certainly in terms of its functionality, performance and ease of use.” Howard’s report reviews Composite Software’s most recent innovations introduced with the Composite Data Virtualization Platform.
According to Shawn Rogers, vice president at Colorado-based EMA, the company’s sole focus on data virtualization and its strategic partnerships are a “proof point of a mature leadership team with deep understanding of how to create and execute on a well thought-out roadmap.”
EMA’s Rogers notes, “Composite Software clearly has both IT developers and end users in mind with these developments…Composite Software has proven it understands the challenges of today’s IT department and the information needs of the executive suite…Composite Software has taken a very strategic approach to its virtualization ecosystem. By partnering with Netezza and Kapow, Composite Software is able to stay focused on its core area of expertise – data virtualization.”
“Working hand-in-hand with our customers—blue chip global companies that demand the best—we have nearly a decade of solving the most complex technical challenges, and the analyst community appreciates this rigor and dedication to a single focus,” notes Jim Green, CEO of Composite Software. “Our forward-moving strategy is simple: to deliver the most benefits to our customers, we’ll innovate where we have expertise, and partner with best-of-breed experts where we don’t.”
